in a bit of a hurry for a healthy breakfast? get a little wild with this blueberry smoothie recipe. i have a few breakfast staples that i rotate between for breakfast and this is one of them. this smoothie is one you’ll want to add to your rotation, too. it is so simple but so good.
- INGREDIENTS:
- - 1 cup frozen Wyman’s wild blueberries
- - 2 tablespoons organic peanut butter
- - ¾ cup milk or almond milk
- - 1 banana (fresh)
- - 1/2 teaspoon of honey - optional
- METHOD:
- add the milk to the blender, then the peanut butter, frozen blueberries and banana. break your banana into chunks before adding in. lastly, add honey if you want your smoothie to be a little sweeter. pulse several times to combine.
- NOTES:
- Wyman's wild blueberries are probably the best frozen blueberries out there. the ingredients are simple: wild blueberries. try to choose wild blueberries when you find them for more antioxidant health benefits.
- frozen fruit is especially great when berries are out of season.
