this is the perfect summer cool down drink. this will keep you hydrated while enjoying your time in the sun. you can add any extras like fresh mint or agave or you can keep it simple. either way, it’s healthy and refreshing.
- INGREDIENTS:
- - 1/2 a watermelon for 2 big glasses
- - 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice
- - water as needed
- METHOD:
- cut your watermelon into little cubes. freeze the watermelon to make ice cubes for your watermelon drink. this will take about 2-3 hours for it to freeze completely. add 2 cups of watermelon cubes to blender. add your lime juice. if your watermelon is sweet, you don’t have to add any sweeteners. lastly, add a bit of water and blend till slushy consistency.
- NOTES:
- if you don’t have a blender, enjoy bashing up the ice in a tea towel and use a grater for the watermelon or a small chop will do.
