there’s a vibrancy in the air – from birds to bright flowers in full bloom, sunny blue skies, and the sound of nature. welcome spring! what a difference a bit of sunshine makes. spring always feels like there is a new beginning. it’s such a rejuvenating, calming and optimistic time of the year. sharing some little updates that you can do to reset yourself for the new season.
clean out and declutter your space – this is one of the most essential things to do because our space is so important to our mental health and how happy we are. “spring clean” one small area of your home every day. is there anything more rewarding than throwing things out?
introduce more seasonal produce into your meals – maybe the best part of spring is all the fresh, organic produce. there’s more fresh fruits and vegetables available to us during the warmer seasons, so take advantage. we can help our bodies be more resilient to stressors by giving our bodies adequate nutrients.
refresh your look – this helps us feel good and feminine. this can be cutting your hair, investing in some very good beauty products or buying some new clothes. dressing up and putting on a bit of makeup naturally makes us feel better. even it it’s just doing our hair and putting on mascara.
sort out your wardrobe – it’s time to change up your wardrobe with some more summery pieces. put your winter clothes away and go through your closet. this includes your socks, undergarments, gym clothes, tops, knits, sweaters, blazers, jackets, pants/ jeans (try them on! this takes a bit of time but so worth it), shoes, bikinis and accessories: bags, belts, hats.
revisit “those” goals – go back to those goals that you set for yourself at the beginning of the year. if you live in a place that is more seasonal, we’re finally over the cold and grey months. tap into the sun for extra energy. get actionable on how you can start or continue accomplishing those goals.
new routines and habits – really look at your routines and habits and ask yourself how to get the most out of your days, weeks and months based on where you are in this moment in life. but it is really important to know when you need to switch off and rest. we are so incredible at so many roles, but we are not superheroes.
spring is the best time of year to refresh, renew, and reset 🌸💕
