the first step to care for your home is cleaning. i feel like taking care of the home is such an important job and housekeeping is a practice. i know sometimes it can feel like a project but some things really take minutes, so why do we procrastinate? the more we procrastinate the harder it is, so we should try our best to avoid cramming housework. a small effort changes the atmosphere of the home. maybe you can implement some of these tips in your own home to make it easier.
lint roller – use a lint roller on a dry bathroom floor to catch all of the hair.
leftover coffee grinds – dry them in the sun first then after put them in a tea bag satchel. you can put this in any area that you think might has a bit of a smell like where you keep your shoes. this works similiar to baking soda.
shower loofah – this will get every nook and cranny. you can use this for the bathroom sink, the bath tub tiles. it’s super convenient. keep it separate from your personal shower loofah if you use one.
citric acid – clean the inside of your toilet bowl with citric acid. leave it sit for ~15 minutes. this will get any stubborn dirt and keep it white.
baking soda – sprinkle baking soda on the kitchen sink and scrub the stains. or use a magic eraser.
washing machine door – always leave the door open after using the washing machine. this will keep the washing machine from getting damp or smelly.
rubber gloves – use rubber gloves to protect your hands and manicure while you clean
orange peels – take leftover orange peels, place them in a bowl and add cover them water. put it in the microwave for 5 minutes. easy way to clean and it will smell good.
