pasture raised eggs – eggs are very nutrient dense and there’s countless ways to prepare them. when purchasing your eggs, make sure they are pasture-raised. the yolks should be an orange tint meaning they are high in antioxidants. if the yolk is a pale yellow color it usually means it’s not as healthy.

beats are in season – they support heart health, boost your immune system and improve blood flow while also lowering blood pressure. they contain antioxidants that help reduce inflammation and promote healthy digestion. you can try roasting or blending them into smoothies or adding them to salads for a tasty, seasonal way to give your body a health boost. 

grocery tip: buy seasonal produce – this helps to be more cost effective 

make your fresh food visually appealing – place them in glass containers and beautiful bowls and i promise you will want to eat them more 

cinnamon is so great at boosting metabolism – cinnamon also helps balance out your blood sugar. i put it on everything this time of year (cinnamon oatmeal, yogurt bowl, apples with honey and cinnamon, coffee)
