i think no matter the space you’re working with, it’s important to have pieces of furniture that make the home feel warm, cozy and inviting. the goal is really to bring as much comfort into your space as possible. unintentionally, i listed the furniture pieces in order of importance, so if there is a particular budget you are working with. i would invest in this order.
bed – the bedroom should be like a little piece of heaven – comfortable.
dining table and chairs – the kitchen is the heart of the home.
couch – the living room is really a space where you just hang out, sit and lounge.
desk and comfy chair– since this would go into a home office space, you want to make sure you can feel focused and productive but also somewhat inspired.
rug – a rug can elevate a space and soften up the floor. a rug in the bedroom and living room. when you’re getting out of bed, you want it to be soft underfoot.
