daily morning habits

"energy flows where attention goes"

i love my early morning time. there’s a few things i aim to do at the start of every day: 

sans phone – wake up without going on your phone (specifically social media) for the first 30 minutes or more. you’re waking up with a fresh mind, so you want to stay “in balance.” it’s probably best to not turn on your stress-response right way.

ritual – have some sort of ritual, make a nice cup of tea or coffee. my coffee makes me so happy and i have something to look forward to each morning.

stretch – a little stretching in the morning will make you feel so good. i always feel so grateful for my body whenever i stretch. 

go for a walk – if you can go for a walk in nature, even better! walking always regulates me. 

journal, journal, journal – it’s a great way to connect with yourself and set a positive mood for the day. i use the five minute journal to write down what i’m most grateful for.

    1. thank you michelle! my favorite and easy coffee to make is nescafe gold blend! it definitely has a golden roast! 🙂 i’ll be sure to post about my favorite, go-to coffees!
